Q: Is my deposit refundable?

All deposits are non-refundable. Refunds are only issued when the driving school is unable to provide the scheduled service for reasons outside of the customer's control.

Q: How do I reschedule a lesson?

You can reschedule through your Student Dashboard up to 72 hours before the lesson for a $15 change fee. Changes made less than 72 hours before are treated as a no-show and a $50 rebooking fee applies. No exceptions.

Q: Does my student need a learner's permit?

Yes. The student must have a valid California learner's permit before any behind-the-wheel lesson begins. If the student arrives without a valid permit, the lesson is treated as a no-show and a $50 rebooking fee applies.

Q: Can parents ride along during the lesson?

No. No additional passengers or ride-alongs are permitted during driving lessons. The instructor's full attention must stay on the student for the entire 2 hours.

Q: When will I receive my completion certificate?

Certificates for individual lessons are issued after the third 2-hour lesson (6 hours total). Package students receive their certificate the same day they complete their final scheduled hour. Lost or damaged certificates can be reordered through your Student Dashboard for a $50 replacement fee.

Once the permit is received, it is not valid until you complete your first driving lesson with a state-licensed driving instructor.

4. Driving Lessons

Complete 6 hours of professional driving lessons with a licensed driving school. and 50 hours with a parent, guardian, or other qualified adult.

5. Driving Test

At age 16, take the behind-the-wheel driving test. Once you pass, you will receive your provisional driver's license

How long does each driving lesson last?

Every behind-the-wheel lesson is exactly 2 hours, door-to-door with pickup and drop-off included. Behind-the-wheel lessons are scheduled in 2-hour blocks.

What payment methods are accepted?

The deposit is paid online by debit or credit card. The remaining balance must be paid when the instructor arrives by cash, money order, or cashier's check. The instructor calls the payment in to the school and verifies the student's permit before the lesson begins.

Does my student need a learner's permit?

Yes. The student must have a valid California learner's permit before any behind-the-wheel lesson begins. If the student arrives without a valid permit, the lesson is treated as a no-show and a $50 rebooking fee applies.

Why can't I call or email customer service?

To keep our instructors on the road teaching, we do not provide a customer service phone number or email address. All customer service is handled online through Chat Support or text message so the entire team can stay focused on what matters most — your student's safety and success.
